1. Which type of washing machine do you need?

2. What capacity?
How many kilograms of laundry should your new washing machine hold? The answer depends on the number of people in your home, the amount of laundry you do, and the types of items you wash.

3. What spin speed?
When talking about a washing machine's spin speed, the revolutions per minute (rpm) refer to how fast a washing machine's drum rotates during the spin cycle. Generally speaking, the higher the spin speed, the "drier" your clothes are after washing.
Pro tip: Choose a 1600 rpm washing machine or a model with a spin speed of 1400 rpm and use less energy to dry your items. It also makes air drying much faster.
4. How important is water and energy efficiency?
Should your washing machine have a good energy rating? How much power will your washing machine consume?

Especially during the spin cycle, but also during a normal wash program, the noise some washing machines make can be disturbing. Not with Bosch. If your washing machine is located in the kitchen, bathroom or other living space where you spend time, we strongly recommend choosing a low decibel model. Best washing machine
I've owned other front loader machines before, but this one washes by far the best. It can even handle small 1 year old socks without concern for them getting stuck. I've had it for 2 years now, use it 2-3 x a week and it's been faultless. I am also glad we upgraded from 8 kg to 10kg, and it makes a big difference for a 5 person household! I have just bought the older but matching dryer which also rates better than the newer looking model.

Great performer!
This is our first front loader and we are very pleased with the capacity and the performance of the washing. The clothes come out very clean and close to dry after the wash cycle is completed. The automatic soap dispenser is wonderful leaving no residue on the clothes. It is also very quiet. It certainly gets a workout on the weekends and just keeps on going. Very happy and would recommend to others.

Returning Customer
Have owned a variety of Bosch products over the years and have had excellent service from all of them and still do. The washing machine finally started to leak after 12 years of very heavy use. At that age it was decided that it was time to get a new one. The WGB25600AU was selected as the replacement. The load capacity was not needed but my reasoning was that if it was designed for a large load but had programs that could handle small loads, the mechanical stesses would be less. It was fitted easily and works out of the box as expected but very seldom praised. The phone app is a bit of nuisance in some respects for the tech challenged like me but all went well. I doubt if I wll be starting the machine remotely and cannot think why anyone would but there are a few good points to the app, mainly the detailed descriptions of programs and actions which can be popped up and some extra functions which may prove to be useful, like notification that the cycle has finished. Performance of the machine itself is excellent, quiet, smooth with excellent outcomes, especially the silk sheets and down sleeping bags. Work wear also comes out well. Some programs are, in my opinion, overly long but there may be technical reasons which I am not aware of that require that length of time. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and look forward to a long and trouble free association with this product.
