Cleaning bagless vacuum cleaners – here’s how

To clean your bagless vacuum cleaner, first check to see how full the dust container is and empty it. If necessary, you can wash the dust container under warm running water, in accordance with the operating instructions. Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours at room temperature and only put it back in the vacuum cleaner when it’s completely dry. You can dry the filter for your bagless vacuum cleaner in the same way.

If you think your bagless vacuum cleaner is blocked internally because, for example, it no longer picks up or is making loud noises, proceed step for step and check the dust container, exhaust filter, the dust collector, the pipe, the tube and the floor fitting. Is an object jammed inside? Carefully try to remove it.
